Write for MCNews

We’re always interested in hearing from people who’d like to contribute an article or a guest blog post for publication.

Here are some guidelines for what we like to see from contributing authors.

When we get an article submission, the first thing we look at is its relevance to our readers, who are mostly professional service providers. And, we assess the quality of the author’s writing style.

You can scan the content of the site to get an idea of the topics we publish.

We’re open to receiving articles (both short and long), book reviews, opinion pieces, interviews you conduct with others, and product/service reviews.

For each article we publish, the author gets attribution in the form of a picture, bio, and link to a web site or blog on the article page. That way, readers can learn more if they want and the author can refrain from making a product/service solicitation in the article itself.

Sometimes, we get an email blast of an article that gets sent to dozens of publications at the same time. Normally, we don’t open those emails.

When we receive your article or artwork, we assume you have given us non-exclusive permission to reprint the content of your message in all forms, electronic or otherwise, in all languages throughout the world. Plus, we don’t pay authors for their contributions.

We publish our newsletter on the first Tuesday of each month. Usually, we need 3 weeks to process an article for publication. So, if we receive your submission in the first week of the month, it can appear in the next month’s issue of the newsletter.

If you want to submit an article, send me an email.
